has uncovered a job listing at 2k Boston (formerly Irrational Games of BioShock / SystemShock fame) that reveals their next title will be an action-packed multiplayer game for the PC/PS3/360 and will be powered by Unreal Engine 3.

has posted a bunch of new screenshots of a atmosphereic new map aptly titled Jungle. They've also got an internal interview of Mike (AKA Teifi), the creator of this level.

The map basically revolves around a central hill with a river flowing around one side. The objective is to reach the riverside terrorist camp on the lower side of the hill, and rescue the hostages. Players will be able to take any route through or around the hill, leaving plenty of freedom. Hopefully the map will create a feeling of tranquility of the jungle, but also the chaos of intersecting routes of play.

Now, while Painkiller isn't an Unreal Engine game, it is, of course, a product of the now Epic Games-owned developer People Can Fly.
